Monday – Very Sad Going Home Day
We woke up about eight o’clock on Monday morning very groggy and sad. We decided we needed at least three more days there. One to spend in SJDC; one to go on jet skis out to El Arco; another lay around the beach and do nothing day. We packed up a bit, then headed down to get some breakfast. After that, we walked up and down the beach a ways each direction from our resort, I gathered some sand and water in a water bottle, and we headed back up to the pool. We sat by the pool for a while, taking note of all the others doing the same thing we were. Everyone looked tired and sad. Went back to the room, showered, finished packing and headed off to the lobby. We were among the last few to get there. Put our stuff in a gigantic pile and walked over to the balcony to sit and wait for the buses to take us to the airport. They arrived right at noon, we boarded and waved goodbye to the Melia Cabo Real. Getting our seats and through security took quite a long time. We were ready for lunch by the time we made it through. We ate at a place called Wings which was up a rather shaky flight of stairs in the terminal. We ate, had time to browse around a few shops, then we started to board. People weren’t near as chatty as they were on the way there. Seemed the whole plane was asleep for a while. Getting through customs here in the
