Cinnamon Squares

I am addicted. To cinnamon squares that is. My mother-in-law Rita makes them. It is quite similar to what others may call Dr. Pepper cake or Texas sheet cake. Yummy chocolate/cinnamon cake with delicious icing on top. One day while in Cabo, I told Ryan I'd pay $100 for a cinnamon square. This past Sunday we went to visit Larry and Rita, show them pictures from the trip and all. Afterward we all went to dinner. While finishing up, I looked at Rita and jokingly said, "so are we ready to head back home for some cinnamon squares?" And to my delight, Rita said yes! She had made them for us! I was so excited! So each day I've been enjoying my favorite dessert thanks to Rita. How can the week get any better when you start it out like that!
